My cousin Alma is having a baby girl! She found this awesome fabric (below) for her nursery and is doing a forest-theme. She asked me to create a blanket for the crib in the same colors as the triangles in the fabric she picked out. So the above chevron blanket is what I came up with. Chevron blankets are so much fun to make!
After I finished the blanket, I had extra yarn left over so I made an owl to match the blanket, which goes perfectly with the nursery’s forest theme.
My coworker Stephanie used the same chevron pattern with a little twist to make this beautiful pink and green blanket for her daughter. The color inspiration was from a flamingo pillow. She then went on to make the navy and green design in a chunky yarn.
